Drahota worked on the Poudre Fire Station #4 in Fort Collins, Colorado from May 2009 to January 2010. The one-story 15,500 SF. facility with a finished basement is three times the size of the former station with four fire engine bays, living quarters, kitchen, dining area, sleeping quarters, offices, restrooms, exercise area, and a public meeting room/firefighters classroom. The facility is unique as it accommodates two fire companies. This project received LEED Gold certification for the USGBC- United States Green Building Council.
